  • Sensory Gardens

Telford Sensory Garden is located within the Town Park’s Chelsea Gardens.  The garden has been designed and created by the Friends of Telford Town Park Gardening Group working with professional landscape architect, Teresa Rham.  It features raised beds, a herb garden, seating, sculptures and water features and has been designed to enable access for all.

Shifnal Millenium Sensory Garden was officially opened to the public in May 2002.  The garden is planted with many varieties of plants, bulbs, shrubs, bushes and trees to give colour, scent, texture and touch throughout the four seasons.  The design and layout makes the garden very accessible for all ages with special consideration given to wheelchair users.  A woodland walk pathway opened in April 2013.  The garden is open every day and is situated in Innage Road, Shifnal, TF11 9AW.
