Fun, Friendship and New Experiences for Visually Impaired Young People

Welcome to our Young People’s Activity Hub – an exciting service brought to you by Sight Loss Shropshire in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council’s Sensory Inclusion Service.

Our activities are designed specifically for young people aged 14–25 who have any type of visual impairment.

Each session is planned with accessibility and inclusion at its heart, offering opportunities to try new experiences, build confidence, and connect with others who understand what it’s like to live with sight loss.

Led by Penny, our experienced Activity Co-ordinator, the programme combines adventure, creativity, and social connection — providing a welcoming space where everyone can get involved, have fun, and feel supported.

We’ll be running activities throughout the year, so check back regularly to see what’s coming up.

Have an idea for an activity you’d love to try? Get in touch with Penny – we’d love to hear your suggestions!
