New Service Launch: Rehoming Sight Loss Equipment Across Shropshire

Giving pre-loved sight loss equipment a new purpose—and bringing practical support to people across our community

We’re excited to launch our new Sight Loss Equipment Rehoming service—designed to give unwanted or unused low vision aids a second life in the hands of someone who can really benefit.

If you have any working sight loss equipment you no longer need—such as magnifiers, talking clocks, electronic readers, or other assistive tools—we’d love to hear from you. Your donated items could make a real difference to someone locally who is living with sight loss.

Through this new initiative, we’re collecting and redistributing donated equipment to people across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. Every item helps someone live more independently and confidently with sight loss.

Could One of Our Items Make Life Easier for You?

If you or someone you know could benefit from any of the equipment we currently have available, please do get in touch. You can view the full list of items here.

We’re always happy to help find the right solution and can assist with collection or delivery where needed.

While donations of equipment are greatly appreciated, we also welcome contributions to help fund this service and our wider support for people living with sight loss.

To donate equipment, enquire about availability, please contact us today. Together, we can help make a real difference—one item at a time.
