Newport Visually Impaired Group Monthly Meeting

Newport VIP group meets at the Cornmell Lea Community Centre, Newport on the first Tuesday of every month from 2pm to 4pm.
Meetings start with Chairman’s notices and business announcements. These are generally followed by a visiting speaker, before tea and biscuits (and sometimes cake) are served. Members have ample time for a chat before the meeting ends. Other activities include: a summer outing, strawberry tea and Christmas dinner.
The group is open to visually impaired people of all ages, along with their carers. Around 25 people generally attend meetings.
