Winter’s Day Out

Each year, Sight Loss Shropshire holds a day of celebration to which all visually impaired people in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin are welcome.

Join us for Winter’s Day Out 2025

When: Wednesday, 29th January 2025

Where: Shrewsbury Town Football Club, The Croud Meadow, Oteley Rd, Shrewsbury SY2 6ST

What Time: 11am to 3.30pm

Over 200 people attend this social event each year. Tickets are free for visually impaired guests and their companions, with a suggested £5 donation per ticket on arrival at the venue.

Enjoy a delicious lunch, entertainment, and a sight loss equipment swap—bring items like magnifiers, talking scales, or clocks to donate (please ensure they’re in good working order).

Vision Aid, a leading supplier of video magnifiers and assistive tech, will also be there with demo equipment for you to try.

2:00pm The Belle V’Ukes (Ukulele band) 

3:00pm Tea, Cake and Raffle 

3:30pm Close
