The Honours system is a prestigious recognition, celebrating individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their field or through dedicated volunteering.

Jenny Wynn is normally responsible for recommending Shropshire residents for honours – but this time round she was herself recognised by the King in recognition of her relentless commitment and passion for making a difference.

As the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Jenny continues to champion causes close to her heart, including her extensive work with Sight Loss Shropshire, the Wynn Foundation, and numerous other organisations.

Her unwavering dedication to improving services and opportunities for those with sight loss has had a profound impact on countless lives.

“This award is a well-deserved recognition of Jenny’s remarkable efforts, and we couldn’t be more proud to see her honoured in this way,” said Diana Flint, Sight Loss Shropshire’s Chair.

On behalf of everyone at Sight Loss Shropshire, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jenny for this outstanding achievement and recognition.
